Wonderful Resource for Math Fluency and Computation

This book helps quite a bit with filling in the fluency for students who may have not mastered fact operations and strategies for multi-digit addition, regrouping with subtraction, especially with the full meaning of the tens (zeroes). It utilizes partial products computation for multi-digit multiplication and division. This methodology is used in many schools. Students are often rushed through these processes. The book is an excellent support for math. The only thing lacking is more practice for the multi-digit multiplication and division. The only thing I would add as an instructor is graph paper or paper with lines to compute the multi-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I did this on my own and created additional problems for practice. I limited my problems to only 6 - 10 per page for practice and homework. This book can be used with grades 4 and up to adults for remediation. It shows the true meaning of place value with regrouping tens, this is shown visually in each column with 0s and tens, etc.

Perfect Choice for those Afraid of Math

The book one, two and three simplifies math problems and brings it to the most common understanding various types of learners can comprehend.
I highly recommend you get all four books because they are tailored to different mathematical problems.

This book is a lifesaver. I didn't understand my granddaughter's math to help with homework, but this helped her learn much better than the worksheets she had from school. Added bonus - I got an excellent refresher!
